Porsche launched the Carrera T in 2017 as a lightweight, driver-focused variant of the 991-generation 911. Based on the Carrera but incorporating performance-oriented features, the 911 T stripped away 35kg of unnecessary weight while adding dynamic enhancements for a more engaging drive.
Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six as standard, the 911 T produces 370 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, delivering a 0-60 mph time of around 4.5 seconds and a top speed of around 180 mph. The 7-speed manual was the obvious choice for the enthusiast driver.
Key weight-saving measures include thinner glass, fabric door pulls, rear seat delete and reduced sound insulation. Standard equipment included Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), a mechanical limited-slip differential and the Sport Chrono package.
Visually, the 911 T stands out with exclusive badging, grey accents and 20-inch wheels. The car was extremely well specified, in GT Silver Metallic over a black leather interior, and was ordered with a selection of factory options on top of the standard Carrera T package.
